History

Statewide Survey Group was formed in 1999 under the directorship of career surveyors Walter and Belinda Ninnes. Since then, Statewide Survey Group has expanded and extended itself to contend as an industry leader, with a stout reputation for the quality and consistency of the services that we extend to all of our clients.

Statewide Survey Group is one of Queensland's leading Consulting Surveyor and Town Planning groups, specialising in Cadastral and Engineering Surveying. Our highly trained consulting surveyors, town planners and drafters are equipped with the latest technology and highly mobile field units.

Our field parties are equipped with state of the art technology that facilitates our uncompromising dedication to precision and accuracy. Amongst which include a diverse range of specialised Topcon and Sokkia total stations, automatic levels and data recorders. Field parties are supported by experienced office staff and draftsmen equipped with the latest Autodesk, IMSI and Topcon drafting applications and cutting edge computer hardware to support the most demanding of drafting tasks.

Our highly mobile field units are decentralised, with crews based around Brisbane to reduce travel costs and to maximize convenience to our clients. Our mobility has seen us undertake projects as far north as Mornington Island and as far South as Coffs Harbour. Statewide Survey Group crews work extensively amongst the Moreton Bay Islands including Russell, Macleay, Lamb, Stradbroke and Moreton, enjoying the reputation as the leading specialist in the region.

Statewide Survey Group is an Endorsed Cadastral Consulting Company (Registration #3682). The company contains 9 Surveyors Board Queensland Accredited Surveyors. This includes two Endorsed Cadastral Surveyors & two Endorsed Cadastral Consulting Surveyors.

Accredited Surveyors for the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME)

It is a recognition that a particular surveyor does surveys of a high standard, i.e. produces a registrable plan and a quality field product every time. Also requires quality management strategy whereby the integrity of all surveys and survey plans is achieved prior to lodgement with the department, rather than as a result of a departmental internal plan monitoring process.


Accredited SealSMART Consultant.

SealSMART is a process aimed at impoving Plan Sealing times through enabling self-certification of applications by accredited consultants.

SIBA is the leading association representing the Spatial Industry.




Accredited MB+ consultant.

MB+ Assessment Initiative has been developed by Moreton Bay Regional Council to streamline the plan sealing process by providing reduced and accurate time frames and clarity of requirements between Council and consultant.
